Job description

Hadco Construction is seeking a Project Manager to support and lead projects within our Development/Mainline division. This role is responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through close-out, partnering closely with Superintendents, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
This position is ideal for a Project Manager who is ready to take full ownership of projects while continuing to grow in leadership and technical depth.
Manage construction projects from award through close-out
  • Coordinate with Superintendents to align schedules, manpower, materials, and sequencing
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
  • Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
  • Review and manage contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders
  • Lead project meetings with owners, engineers, inspectors, and internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, plans, specifications, and quality requirements
  • Collaborate with accounting on billing, pay applications, and job cost reporting
  • Identify and proactively resolve project risks and issues
  • Support and mentor junior project staff as needed

Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in construction project management
  • Experience with Development, Mainline, Heavy Civil, or Underground Utility projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of schedules, budgets, and job cost management
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts
  • Proficient with project management and construction accounting software
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Preferred (Not Required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience managing multi-phase or infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with Utah construction practices and regulations
