Job Summary:
Abacus Service Corporation is seeking a Project Manager to lead the Public Health Data Portal Expansion project. This role involves managing project planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and adherence to quality standards.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage the project plan, timeline, and milestones.
• Establish communication protocols and governance structure for project execution.
• Coordinate with ADHS Project Manager and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead Agile ceremonies including:
• Sprint planning
• Daily standups
• Sprint reviews
• Backlog grooming sessions
• Track sprint progress and ensure development aligns with project priorities.
• Ensure project deliverables meet milestone deadlines and quality expectations.
• Monitor progress of development, testing, and deployment activities.
• Submit deliverables through the dotStaff VMS system for approval.
• Identify potential project risks and challenges.
• Develop mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and deliverable quality.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience managing IT or software development projects.
• Experience managing projects using Agile and SDLC methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional technical teams.
Preferred:
• Experience managing government or public sector technology projects.
• Experience with data portals, analytics platforms, or public health systems.
