We provide turnkey, custom power packages that integrate alternators, cooling systems, controls, switchgear, cabling, and protection, delivered as containerized, skid, or walk-in solutions. Our team manages the full lifecycle from application engineering and 3D design to structural fabrication, wiring and piping, sound and thermal management, code compliance, factory acceptance testing, and site support. With scalable production capacity and disciplined program management, PSI delivers repeatable quality and reliable performance on complex builds for mission-critical and industrial applications worldwide.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and execution of customer orders and shipments, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining strong customer relationships. This role will collaborate with internal teams (sales, engineering and production) to manage customer expectations, troubleshoot potential issues, and streamline communication to ensure efficiency. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem-solver who excels in fast-paced environments and thrives on meeting customer needs.
Responsibilities:
Order Management:
  • Lead the end-to-end order fulfillment process, from initial customer request to final delivery.
  • Ensure all customer orders are processed accurately and in accordance with company policies and timelines.
  • Coordinate with production and inventory teams to ensure product availability aligns with customer delivery requirements.

Shipment Coordination:
  • Manage the logistics of shipments to ensure on-time delivery, working closely with the logistics and warehouse teams.
  • Track and monitor shipments, proactively addressing any delays or issues, and communicate status updates to customers.
  • Partner with third-party logistics providers, if necessary, to optimize shipping costs and timelines.

Customer Communication:
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding order and shipment inquiries.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Ensure clear and timely communication with customers on order changes, delays, or issues that could impact delivery schedules.

Problem Resolution:
  • Identify and address any discrepancies or challenges that may arise in the order or shipment process.
  • Work with internal teams to resolve issues quickly and efficiently while minimizing customer impact.
  • Analyze root causes of recurring issues and implement continuous improvement strategies.

Project Management:
  • Lead cross-functional projects focused on optimizing order fulfillment and shipment processes.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.

Reporting & Analytics:
  • Monitor key performance metrics related to orders and shipments (on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, etc.).
  • Prepare reports for senior leadership highlighting performance, trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Use data to drive decision-making and process improvements.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Strong understanding of order management and shipment processes.
  • Experience working in customer-facing roles with a proven ability to manage customer relationships.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and ERP systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • PMP or CAPM certification preferred.
