Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • ⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠Provide technical support to production operations with a focus on blow molding, injection molding, robotics, and automation systems.

  • Specify, procure, and develop new equipment to support new product launches, equipment replacement, capacity expansion, capability enhancement, and increased production flexibility.

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve equipment reliability and performance issues through structured problem-solving and implementation of corrective actions.

  • Serve as a technical expert in the development of Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEAs), including execution of Reverse FMEAs (RFMEAs).

  • Conduct time studies and operational analyses to improve efficiency through cycle time reduction, material optimization, and process stabilization.

  • Provide support to production and maintenance teams by troubleshooting and implementing changes to PLC and HMI systems, as well as diagnosing and resolving industrial communication system issues.

  • Support new products and tooling introductions through robotics programming, program modifications, and troubleshooting.

  • Contribute to the expansion and maintenance of digitalization and Industry 4.0 initiatives, including the development and implementation of new use cases.

Required Qualifications

  • BS Electrical or Chemical Engineering (other engineering degrees may be considered dependent on experience)

  • 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing

  • 5+ years’ experience in industrial control systems and automation (applications, set-up, programming debug, integration)

  • 2+ years’ experience in project management

  • 2+ years' SAP or similar ERP system experience

  • 1+ year experience in data acquisition systems

  • 1+ year experience in tooling repair and maintenance methods, and procedures

  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
