Job Title: Sr. Project Controls Associate 
Location: Jacksonville, FL 
Employment Type: Full-Time 

Job Summary: 

Management Solutions is seeking a Sr. Project Controls Associate to support project planning, scheduling, and cost control efforts across major initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with scheduling. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated critical path schedules in accordance with project specifications 

  • Document planning objectives, scope, and milestones for inclusion in scheduling processes 

  • Collect and update project progress data from project teams and stakeholders 

  • Monitor project metrics including schedule dates, physical percent complete, resource needs, subcontractor deliverables, and accruals 

  • Track schedule progress and resource productivity 

  • Generate time-phased project cost and resource forecasts and validate project cost data 

  • Monitor actual expenditures against forecasts and project deliverables 

  • Conduct financial variance, risk, and profit/loss analyses 

  • Create non-routine financial reports and perform complex analyses 

  • Assess and document the cost and schedule impact of project changes 

  • Raise early warning signals for project risks and delays 

  • Recommend resource adjustments to maintain project timelines 

  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and federal/government contract requirements 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred) 

  • Years of Experience: 8 plus years of work experience 

  • Analytical and good with numbers 

  • Proficiency with scheduling and managing projects 

  • Demonstrated experience serving as a team lead—setting direction, mentoring colleagues, and driving projects to completion. 

  • Professional, client-facing maturity with a track record of managing stakeholder expectations, cultivating relationships, and representing the organization with credibility. 

  • Experience with Primavera (P6) 

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 

  • Ability to pass a federal background check and drug screening 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience working with USACE strongly preferred
  • Prior experience with DoD or DOE contracts 
  • Familiarity with project controls tools and methodologies in a federal contracting environment 

Work Authorization: 

U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements. 

Working Conditions: 
Employees must be available to work during Eastern Time Zone business hours and will be required to use a computer and other office equipment for extended periods.
