Job description

Position Overview:
The Pricing Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate pricing, item files, and promotional information for all center store vendors. This role ensures that all product pricing, cost changes, and vendor information are correctly entered into the company's system to maintain price integrity, compliance, and profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain accurate pricing and item data for all center store products, including cost, retail, and promotional pricing.
  • Enter and verify data in pricing and inventory systems to ensure accuracy across point-of-sale (POS) and back-office systems (BRdata, Merlin, RORC, etc).
  • Audit store pricing to ensure compliance with corporate pricing policies and regulatory guidelines (e.g., unit pricing, advertised pricing).
  • Monitor and process price changes daily, weekly, and during promotional periods.
  • Work closely with specialists to resolve discrepancies between invoices, cost files, and shelf pricing.
  • Assist in new item setup, ensuring proper UPC, vendor, and department coding.
  • Support store teams with pricing questions, promotional setups, and vendor communication.
  • Train managers within stores on reporting, pricing and troubleshoot all issues and discrepancies.
  • Generate reports for gross margin, shrink and all related item movement, price variances, and promotional effectiveness.
  • Ensure deadlines for price changes and ads are met accurately and on time
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Environment:
  • Ability to work in varying temperature-controlled environments

Schedule:
  • Full-time 40 hours a week
  • Must be able to close 2 nights a week.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule; weekdays weekends and holidays.

Pay:
  • 18.00-19.00 per hour.

Experience:
  • Preferred: Two (2) years in grocery retail, pricing coordination or vendor management
  • Required: Proficient in intermediate-level Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, all formulas)
  • Preferred: Strong data entry skills with attention to detail with proficiency in pricing systems and POS back-office tools
  • Preferred: Proficiency in English (written and verbal) to effectively communicate with associates and leadership

Skills:
  • Physical abilities: Ability to stand, walk and sit throughout your day; Walking on a variety of flooring such as carpet, concrete, tile etc;
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and leaders on a daily basis
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Working in a team-based environment: Working independently and as a team player to ensure our customers are receiving orders timely and with the highest quality
