Senior Manager, Product Management (Advanced Visualization Portfolio)

We're looking for a strategic, high-impact leader who can shape portfolio direction, influence across functions, and drive meaningful business outcomes.
As a Senior Manager of Product Management, you will lead the marketing strategy across multiple key brands, overseeing the VB Spine advanced visualization portfolio, market access, and commercial execution. This role partners closely with Sales, Customer Excellence, Medical Education, R&D, and Operations to deliver strong portfolio performance. You will represent the portfolio globally and play a critical role in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies.
What You'll Do:
  • Product & Portfolio Strategy
    • Lead full product lifecycle management, including launch planning, commercialization, multi-generational roadmapping, and end-of-life strategy
    • Define portfolio strategy, including positioning, pricing, market access, procedure development, and go-to-market execution
    • Partner with R&D, Clinical, and Regulatory teams to align new product development with customer needs and brand strategy
    • Establish and oversee clinical evidence generation and claims strategy to support product adoption and reimbursement
  • Business Strategy
    • Develop and execute long-range strategic plans and annual marketing plans aligned with business objectives and growth targets
    • Partner in integrated business planning to align commercial expectations with operational capabilities
    • Establish pricing strategy, including contract pricing, to optimize revenue, margin, and competitive positioning
    • Advise on commercial models, channel strategy, and sales enablement to support business growth
    • Manage marketing budgets and contribute to P&L performance through disciplined investment decisions
  • Integrated Business Planning
    • Translate commercial strategy into accurate demand forecasts using market trends, sales inputs, inventory data, and product lifecycle insights
    • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure alignment on capacity, supply continuity, and inventory targets
    • Identify and mitigate risks related to supply disruption, excess inventory, and product obsolescence
    • Lead lifecycle transition planning to minimize inventory exposure and optimize product transitions
  • Market Intelligence & Business Analytics
    • Lead market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends
    • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, translating insights into actionable strategy
    • Conduct financial and operational analyses to inform business decisions and portfolio performance
    • Establish KPIs and evaluate performance through post-launch and ongoing portfolio reviews
  • Sales Enablement & Marketing Execution
    • Provide clear strategic direction and technical expertise to the sales organization
    • Develop and deliver training and education programs for internal teams, customers, and KOLs
    • Lead marketing communications strategy to maximize reach, engagement, and adoption
    • Evaluate and refine commercial programs to improve effectiveness and impact
  • Cross-Functional & People Leadership

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of professional experience
  • 7+ years of experience in medical device, marketing, or sales (capital equipment experience preferred)
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and influence without direct authority
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and drive alignment

Compensation:
Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, with additional factors like territory requirements, qualifications, and performance taken into account. The typical pay range for this position is $160,000 - $180,000 annually, with potential for bonuses and incentives plus benefits.
VB Spine reserves the right to offer compensation outside of this listed range. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
