Job description

What Do You Seek?
Are you the person who makes everything run? The one who sees what's coming before anyone else does, keeps a dozen plates spinning, and still has an eye for what makes a story land?
This role is for someone who wants both halves of that: the operational trust of a true right hand, and the creative reps of building a brand in public. If you're organized, proactive, and genuinely interested in the intersection of business, sports, and storytelling - we want to hear from you!
About Burnham Law & Role
At Burnham Law, we work hard, support each other, and win together.
Burnham Law is an elite Colorado- and Arizona-based law firm with a team of top-rated, experienced legal professionals. The firm represents clients across a variety of practice areas, including Domestic Relations, Civil Litigation, Probate and Estate Planning, and Criminal Defense.
This position sits with the firm's Founder and CEO. In addition to leading Burnham Law, the Founder and CEO is an adjunct professor at CU Law, a member of the Colorado Bar Association's AI and Innovation Task Force, a co-host of the Athletes at Law podcast, and the author of two books.
You will be the single point of coordination across all of it - the person who protects the calendar, moves the projects, and runs the content engine that turns the work into an audience.
This is a high-trust, high-autonomy seat. You'll have visibility into the strategy, the ventures, and the decisions. In exchange, you'll be expected to own outcomes without being managed to them.
What You'll Do
Executive & Personal Support (approximately 60%)
- Manage a complex, fast-moving calendar across the firm, the podcast, teaching, speaking, and personal commitments - including triage of competing priorities
- Serve as the Founder's primary point of contact
- Coordinate travel end to end: flights, hotels, ground transportation, itineraries, and contingency planning
- Prepare correspondence, presentations, agendas, meeting materials, and business documents
- Track deadlines, commitments, and follow-ups so nothing falls through - and close the loop without being asked
- Maintain organized digital and/or physical filing systems
- Handle confidential business, financial, and personal information with absolute discretion
- Support expense reporting, invoice processing, and household and venture-level financial tracking
- Run point on special projects: book launches, speaking engagements, events, and new initiatives
Content and Social Media (approximately 40%)
- Own the weekly content calendar and publish rhythm across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and podcast channels
- Coordinate podcast production logistics: guest booking, pre-interview research and briefs, recording schedules, and episode release timing
- Manage the clip pipeline - reviewing long-form footage, identifying moments worth cutting, briefing editors, and shipping short-form on schedule
- Write and adapt captions, hooks, and copy in an established brand voice
- Build and maintain episode graphics and social assets within the existing brand system
- Engage with the community: comments, DMs, and inbound opportunities
- Track performance and report on what's working and make recommendations based on it
- Maintain and improve the SOPs that keep the engine running
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years supporting senior leadership in an executive assistant or comparable role
- Demonstrated hands-on social media management experience - this is not a role where you'll be learning platforms on the job. Please include links or examples of accounts you've run.
- Working knowledge of short-form video: how a clip gets found, cut, captioned, and shipped
- Exceptional organization and time management skills with the judgment to prioritize independently
- Excellent written communication - you can match a voice, not just correct grammar
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
- Self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity; you move without waiting for instruction
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
- Comfort with basic financial tracking and expense management
Preferred
- Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Descript, or comparable design and editing software
- Background or genuine interest in athletics - the content lives at the intersection of business, sports, and life, and it shows when someone speaks the language
- Experience in a legal, professional services, or founder-led environment
- Comfort using AI tools to work faster
Benefits
Burnham Law offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support our team both professionally and personally.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, including one fully employer-paid medical plan option, and access to a Health Savings Account (HSA) when enrolled in an HSA-compatible medical plan
  • Ancillary benefits, including life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, accident insurance, and critical illness insurance
  • Matching 401 (k)
  • Paid and unpaid time off
  • Paid holidays
  • Firm-paid parental leave benefit, in accordance with firm policy and in addition to any applicable state or legally required leave benefits
  • Firm-provided quarterly luncheons
  • Monthly lunch-and-learn sessions to support professional growth and mental wellness
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth
  • Firm-branded apparel and team gear - yes, the good kind of firm swag!
  • Flexible work arrangements
  • Work-life balance
  • Firm-provided snacks and beverages

This position may be performed in a hybrid arrangement, depending on the needs of the Founder and firm. During the first 90 days of employment, you will be expected to be in the office as much as possible for onboarding, training, and integration. The typical workday is Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, with flexibility required around podcast recordings, events, and travel. Regular travel between the firm's Colorado offices will be required, with occasional travel to other locations based on the Founder's and firm's needs.
Office Location:
12737 E Euclid Dr.
Centennial, CO 80111
If you're a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys creating and managing engaging social media content, and excels at supporting a busy Founder directly, we encourage you to apply. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is proactive, creative, resourceful, and excited to help manage both the day-to-day priorities and public-facing presence of the firm's Founder.
