We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and client-focused Pilates Instructor to deliver exceptional Pilates experiences at the Ponte Vedra Sports Club. This role involves teaching group Mat Pilates classes, private sessions, and semi-private sessions in a luxury resort environment. The ideal candidate will inspire members of all levels while maintaining the highest standards of form, safety, and personalized service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead engaging and technically precise Group Mat Pilates classes (beginner to advanced levels).
  • Deliver high-quality Private and Semi-Private Pilates sessions tailored to individual member goals, fitness levels, and any special needs.
  • Design and progress Pilates programming focused on core strength, flexibility, posture, alignment, and injury prevention.
  • Provide clear cueing, modifications, and advancements to ensure member safety and results.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment before and after classes/sessions.
  • Build strong relationships with members and deliver personalized attention consistent with PVIC's Forbes 5-Star standards.
  • Collaborate with the Group Fitness Manager, Pilates Studio Lead, and personal trainers for integrated wellness programming.
  • Track member progress and provide feedback to support long-term goals.
  • Stay current with Pilates methodologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Comprehensive Mat Pilates certification from a recognized program (Balanced Body, STOTT Pilates, Peak Pilates, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience teaching Group Mat Pilates classes as well as Private/Semi-Private sessions.
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience (luxury club, resort, or high-end studio preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and Pilates principles.
  • CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
  • Exceptional teaching presence, energy, and ability to motivate members.
  • Professional appearance and a warm, service-oriented attitude.
  • Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
