Job Summary

The Standardized Patient Coordinator supports the department by working with stakeholders across the organization; provides administrative and clerical support including coordinating the logistics for meetings and events, entering and analyzing data, performing word processing, spreadsheet management, and developing presentations; assists with program specific needs and plans and executes strategies to remedy current and anticipated program issues in conjunction with the program and department leads

Essential Functions of the Role
  • Delivers virtual and/or on-site administrative support and customer service in a team-based environment, adapting methods and behaviors to effectively engage and accommodate stakeholder styles and preferences.    
  • Helps advance, implement, and achieve department objectives and desired outcomes, providing tactical and logistical project and operations support.    
  • Responsible for the administrative operations of the team including communications, and administrative management of team sites.    
  • Coordinates and provides administrative support for meeting logistics including creating, updating, and rescheduling meeting invitations, capturing meeting notes, and disseminating information across the team and wider organization.    
  • Responsible and accountable for managing work and projects, demonstrating management abilities to maintain momentum to move work forward. 
  • Oversees the intake process of Standardized Patient requests including scheduling, event details, and collaboration with additional stakeholders.   
  • Acts as the liaison between Temple College, BSWH, and additional stakeholders to support programs.    
  • Support student orientation events to include set up of computers, troubleshooting technical challenges, and ensuring a safe and appropriate testing environment.    
  • Communicates effectively with team members and key partners, addressing questions or issues promptly and professionally.    
  • Monitors and responds to incoming requests on behalf of the department, including triage of incidents/requests, directing items to other teams, initiating work on projects, and adjusting meetings and schedules. 
  • Manage and support marketing efforts for Standardized Patient (SP) interest. 
  • Support budgetary planning, financial tracking, and purchasing needs for the team and key events.
Key Success Factors
  • Corporate healthcare organization experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated strengths working in a dynamic, ambiguous, and ever-changing work environment.
  • MS Office Suite Proficient experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint and Outlook.
  • Preferred working knowledge of Service Now, Agile Methodology, Visualization Tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

LOCATION: Temple

SCHEDULE: Day Shift, Full Time, M-F

**HYBRID: 2 days in office/as needed to support on-site
