Job description

Food Production Machine Operator

Pay: Day Shift $21.25/hour Night Shift $23.75/hour

Schedule: 3 - 4 day work weeks with set shifts

Shift 1 – Sunday – Tuesday every other Wednesday Day Shift

Shift 2 - Sunday – Tuesday every other Wednesday Night Shift

Shift 3 - Thursday – Saturday every other Wednesday Day Shift

Shift 4 - Thursday – Saturday every other Wednesday Night Shift

Location: McMinnville, OR

GLISS General Labor & Industrial Staffing Solutions is hiring for Machine Operators for Day & Night Shift for a local food production facility. If you have previous experience operating manufacturing or production equipment & looking for a temp to hire opportunity APPLY TODAY

Responsibilities:

- Start/set up machinery and make adjustments and troubleshoot as needed throughout the shift.

- Mix ingredients for various products & make sure they are packaged correctly.

- Continuous survey of the production process, making sure all is running correctly, examples: inspect quality of the dough, verify the correct packaging is being used, audit the palletizing/stacking of the boxes to ensure accuracy etc.

- Support the production associates as needed, packaging & palletizing product, cleaning/clearing work areas.

- Report & document any issues/changes to management and/or maintenance crew.

Qualifications:

- Ability to commit to a 12-hour workday & standing the entirety of the shift

- Working overtime weekly & working weekend days

- Speak, read & write fluent English as orientation is required and material available at this time is only in English

Required:

- 1 year or more of food production or manufacturing machine operation experience

- Resume & longevity of past jobs is important to this position
