Job description

WorkSource is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to join our team in a fast-paced cold storage facility. This position involves safely operating various material handling equipment, adhering to all safety protocols, and supporting daily warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts and other MHE.
  • Perform equipment safety checks and report maintenance needs.
  • Use RF scanners to manage inventory.
  • Maintain cleanliness and follow GMP standards.
  • Load and audit outbound trailers using WMS.
  • Work independently while meeting productivity goals.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prior forklift and warehouse experience preferred.
  • Comfortable working in cold storage (40°F) and at heights up to 40 ft.
  • Able to lift 35-50 lbs frequently, up to 75 lbs occasionally.
  • Must meet DOT vision and hearing standards.
  • Willing to work overtime, including weekends.
