Production Operator โ€“ 1st Shift (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: San Diego, CA
Schedule: 1st Shift | 5:30 AM โ€“ 2:00 PM | Monโ€“Fri
Duration: Temp-to-Hire


About the Role

Chromalloy, a leader in aerospace component manufacturing and repair, is hiring Production Operators to join the 1st shift team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in hands-on manufacturing work with potential for full-time hire.


What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Operate machinery and use hand tools to manufacture or repair aerospace parts.

  • Perform tasks such as sandblasting, masking, loading/unloading furnaces, and finishing work.

  • Follow traveler specifications and safety procedures.

  • Inspect completed parts to ensure quality standards are met.

  • Participate in on-the-job training (OJT) to learn new processes.


What Weโ€™re Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (per FAA requirements).

  • Experience with hand tools, manufacturing equipment, or industrial environments (preferred).

  • Detail-oriented with strong time management and reliability.

  • Aerospace, construction, or industrial background a plus.
