Job description

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Structural Engineer to design, analyze, and oversee the construction of safe and durable structures. This role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure structural integrity, code compliance, and project efficiency from concept through completion.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design structural systems for buildings and infrastructure projects
  • Perform structural analysis and load calculations
  • Prepare drawings, specifications, and technical reports
  • Review architectural and engineering plans for accuracy and feasibility
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams throughout project phases
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and safety
  • Evaluate existing structures for renovations or retrofits
  • Provide solutions to structural challenges and construction issues
  • Support permitting and approval processes


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain (preferred)
  • 2+ years of structural design experience (varies by level)
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and industry standards
