Job description

As a Logistics Technician, you will play a key role in the maintenance and operation of submarine rescue systems and support equipment, ensuring efficient logistics, transportation, and supply chain operations. This position is critical to sustaining worldwide submarine rescue missions and maintaining operational readiness.

REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of practical experience in logistics.
  • Ability to work independently and in a small team environment.
  • Able to apply a working knowledge of general technical/engineering fundamentals.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and data.
  • Ability to pass a DOT Physical
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and Database management.

DESIRED

  • Familiarity with Government Property Accountability and DFARS
  • Forklift experience & certification
  • Experience with large-scale commercial and/or military systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills with logistics databases.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and effective use of supply support processes.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Hourly pay range for this position is $29.57 - $41.68

ESSENTIAL

  • Perform receipt inspections, COC verification and validation of controlled material in accordance with applicable specifications.
  • Ensure the receipt, custody and issuance of all controlled materials is executed under the appropriate protocols.
  • Maintain all receiving records in an auditable fashion.
  • Coordinate the resolution of all material deficiencies and issues of non-conformance discovered during receipt inspection, material storage and issue for use.
  • Maintain physical custody of controlled inventory until issue for use.
  • Package shipments for national and international freight to include proper documentation of bills of lading and dangerous goods shipments into and out of the United States.
  • Track, report and update as needed national and international shipments through the customs process to destination.
  • Compile, review, and maintain product data, price lists, reports, and records.
  • Some travel may be required.
