Job Summary:
Systems Staffing Group is seeking a Manager of Software Development to provide leadership and vision to software engineers and development employees. The role involves overseeing the software development life cycle, managing teams, and ensuring successful project delivery while also reporting progress to senior management.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Successfully partner and lead large offshore resources in solving complex business needs.
โ€ข Perform reviews to ensure enterprise and architectural standards and processes are followed.
โ€ข Complete management responsibilities to include performance management, hiring and coaching of staff, and resource planning.
โ€ข Write advanced complex code for computer systems and serve as a senior source of expertise.
โ€ข Manage system and user acceptance testing cycles to ensure accurate and quality business solutions.
โ€ข Lead the development of technical standards, and perform reviews to ensure enterprise and architectural standards and processes are followed.
โ€ข Serve as a primary technical point of contact for external technology resources.
โ€ข Recommend technical strategy and direction across functional area.
โ€ข Participate in development and evolution of architecture.
โ€ข Consult with stakeholders to find alternative work-arounds during system outages.
โ€ข Provide design input across a product.
