PROGRAM MANAGER - WIRING

SOUTHFIELD, MI - WORLD HEADQUARTERS

As a member of the Program Management team, the Program Manager will be responsible for:

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Program Execution - Drive the cross functional team to accomplish product launch while utilizing Lear Program Management Process and disciplines
    • Run regular meetings with
      • Key Customer Liasons
      • Sales
      • Purchasing
      • Lead Unit Engineering
      • Plant Product Engineering
      • Plant Quality
  • Drive Accountability to the APQP process to assure the program launches with quality
  • Responsible to assure program budget requirements and financial returns meet or exceed Lear hurdle rates and corporate commitments
  • Run Management Gate Reviews in LearPro
  • Create Program Deliverable Timelines based on customer milestones
  • Be the face of Lear to the customer
  • Will report to Platform Director or specific OEM Customer Lead (Platform Manager)

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business
  • At least 5 years of automotive experience and firm grasp of APQP principles
  • Working knowledge of program and operational finance
  • Proven record of managing within cross functional teams and matrix style organizations
  • Ability to travel domestically, with occasional international

 

Bonus If You Have:

  • MBA
  • Experience with Wire Harnesses
