ENTEK is excited to welcome a Planner Scheduler Level 2 to our team in Lebanon, Oregon.  If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy balancing project scheduling with production planning, and are energized by collaborating across teams to keep projects and operations on track, this role could be an excellent fit for you. Success in this position requires strong organization, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to proactively identify and address scheduling and resource challenges while supporting on-time delivery and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
As a Level 2 Planner Scheduler, you will develop, maintain, and report on detailed project and manufacturing schedules for assigned scopes of work while partnering with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, supply chain, and startup teams to monitor progress, identify schedule variances, and support mitigation plans. You will help coordinate production planning activities by managing manufacturing work orders, monitoring material availability, evaluating production capacity, and aligning inventory to meet customer and project delivery requirements. In this role, you will perform routine schedule updates, prepare milestone and look-ahead reports, support change impact documentation, and ensure schedules comply with company standards and best practices. You will work independently on assigned responsibilities while continuing to build expertise in project execution, production planning, and manufacturing operations.
 In this role, you will: 
  • Develop and maintain detailed project and production schedules for assigned scopes
  • Perform routine schedule updates and progress assessments
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, startup, and supply chain teams
  • Support production scheduling to meet order demand, inventory targets, and delivery milestones
  • Monitor material availability, lead times, and manufacturing constraints
  • Identify schedule variances and support mitigation planning
  • Prepare look-ahead schedules, production forecasts, and milestone reports
  • Support documentation of schedule impacts related to design, material, or resource changes
  • Participate in planning and coordination meetings
  • Compile subcontractor, supplier, and manufacturing schedules
  • Ensure schedules comply with ENTEK standards and best practices

  What We're looking for:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), Primavera P6, or equivalent scheduling systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, production tracking, and reporting
  • Understanding of engineering, construction, and manufacturing sequencing
  • Basic knowledge of MRP/ERP production scheduling concepts
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
  • Effective communication with project stakeholders and production teams
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Project Management, or related technical field preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years of progressive experience in project planning, scheduling, manufacturing planning, production scheduling, or related operational planning roles
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing, EPC, construction, or equipment production environments preferred
  • Working knowledge of ERP / MRP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent scheduling software preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements
