The Inventory Control Team Lead is Responsible implement and maintain processes and procedures necessary to meet or exceed company standards for inventory accuracy and material flow requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The timely execution and maintenance of inventory management programs.

Analysis of inventory activity and formulation of corrective and preventive actions needed to alleviate nonconforming activity.

Preparing reports and tracking data on results of and corrective actions generated by inventory management processes.

  • Informing management of inventory accuracy deficiencies.
  • Working with all departments to maintain inventory accuracy at acceptable levels.
  • Accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Ensuring that educational opportunities provided are used effectively to aid in improving inventory accuracy.
  • Maximizing use of available resources while using time effectively.
  • Ensuring an audit trail is created for all inventory transactions.
  • Reporting suspected pilferage to management.
  • Attend all required meetings.
  • Provide input to management to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Complete any other assigned duties

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Train new Inventory Control employees in inventory management functions.
  • Insure that Inventory Control process ware being completed correctly and promptly.
