Food amp; Beverage Supervisor (Full Time/Seasonal)
Marriott Myrtle Beach Resort amp; Spa at Grande Dunes
Myrtle Beach, SC

We are looking for an experienced F amp;B Supervisor with excellent customer service skills, who are passionate about the hospitality industry. The position will oversee all outlets to include Oceans 82nd, Blue Restaurant amp; Bar, Ala Carte, Ocean Blue Café and Cove Pool Bar. This is a full time position for the summer and part time for off season.

Responsibilities
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner with a sense of urgency
  • Participates in the recruitment, selection, and training of staff
  • Supervise food and beverage staff
  • Ensure customer satisfaction; uphold and maintain high quality customer service and hospitality.
  • Maintain inventory control costs
  • Oversee food service, and act as an expeditor, when necessary, to ensure the timely movement of completed food orders from kitchen to customer table
  • Respond to guest inquires and requests and resolve customer complaints in a timely, friendly and efficient manner according to departmental guidelines.
  • Ensure departmental policies and procedures are implemented and followed and schedules/checklists are completed according to requirements
  • Keep immediate supervisor informed of significant issues and take prompt corrective action
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working atmosphere. Resolve internal conflict amongst staff
  • Ensuring back of house area and outlet are cleaned after closing to comply with state regulations
  • Working as part of a fun, high-energy team.
  • Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
Requirements
  • Completion of a food service administration, hotel or restaurant management course is an asset
