Job description

Big Yellow Taxi is a creative agency producing impactful storytelling and communication campaigns for NGOs, international organizations, brands, and mission-driven clients around the world. We work across animation, video production, branding, design, digital campaigns, and strategic communications.

We are looking for a highly organized, proactive Project Manager to help oversee projects from proposal through delivery. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment, communicates clearly, and enjoys balancing operations, budgeting, and client-facing coordination.
Responsibilities

  • Track timelines, deliverables, budgets, and workflows across multiple active projects
  • Coordinate internal teams, freelancers, vendors, and external partners
  • Review RFPs, ToRs, and procurement opportunities to assess strategic fit for the agency
  • Draft technical and financial proposals for NGO, donor, and creative-sector opportunities
  • Support budgeting, financial tracking, and project reporting
  • Maintain project documentation, schedules, and status updates
  • Ensure deadlines are met and workflows remain organized and efficient
  • Assist with vendor coordination and production logistics as needed
  • Help improve and maintain internal systems and project management processes


Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently
  • Experience with project coordination, proposal writing, or operations management
  • Familiarity with NGO procurement, donor-funded projects, or creative agency workflows is a plus
  • Proficiency with tools such as Asana, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Suite
  • Self-starter mentality with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working remotely with distributed teams


Preferred Experience

  • Junior to mid-level professional experience
  • Experience supporting creative, communications, production, or agency-based projects
  • Financial tracking or budgeting experience is a plus
  • Vendor management or production coordination experience is a plus


Education

A college degree is preferred but not required. We are more interested in strong communication skills, organization, professionalism, and the ability to learn quickly.
