Position Overview
CUMULUS MEDIA | Buffalo is searching for an experienced part-time Producer for One Bills Live (WGRF-AM). We hire people who are passionate about audio, video and social media and are driven, resourceful problem solvers who thrive in the evolving, diverse culture of the entertainment business. The successful candidate takes pride in their creativity and success of the overall content.
The Producer will be responsible for overseeing One Bills Live Weekdays M-F from 1-3 pm, and coordinate content collection for game day. This same producer will be overseeing the network Pre, In Game, and Post Game as well. The Producer will report to the Program Director.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
  • Live management and production of the show's daily moment to moment content, sound and presentation
  • Creation and updating of all 'in show' and 'out of show' imaging, produced teases/promos and production elements that support the show
  • Managing the show's daily digital content for relevance and creativity across multiple platforms
  • Book and pre-interview guests
  • Organize meetings with the station's Brand & Content Leader to ensure tactical plans and image are consistent with the station's strategy
  • Coordinate logistics for remote and special broadcasts
  • Manage a system for archiving audio, show content, digital content
  • Monitors listener emails, inquiries and responses related to shows

Qualifications:
  • Preferred track record of success as a Content Producer and/or Assistant in a smaller market or college station
  • Strong social and digital experience
  • Ability to plan and organize, set priorities, multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with creative individuals as part of a team
  • Deep knowledge of music, pop culture and current events
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong production skills and knowledge of VOX Pro/Adobe Audition and Audacity
  • Knowledge of FCC rules and regulations
  • Must be flexible with work hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record

Pay Range
USD $20.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
