This role provides organizational leadership and strategic technical direction to ensure the protection, resilience, and scalability of enterprise network infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments.

As a senior leader, this position leads a global network security organization, driving execution of security initiatives while shaping long‑term roadmap and governance. The role partners closely with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, cloud, and security operations teams to align network security capabilities with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and evolving threat landscapes.

The Senior Manager acts as an escalation point for critical incidents, provides executive‑level reporting, and drives continuous improvement of network security posture through innovation, automation, and adoption of modern security frameworks such as Zero Trust and SASE.

What Your Impact Will Be
  • Lead and manage the global Network Security function, including engineers and technical leads, ensuring high performance, accountability, and professional development.
  • Responsible for securing enterprise network infrastructure supporting global business operations.
  • Define and execute the strategic roadmap for network security, aligning with enterprise security architecture, cloud transformation, and business priorities.
  • Oversee design, implementation, and operations of enterprise network security technologies, including:

    • Prisma Access / SASE platforms
    • GlobalProtect VPN
    • Web Application Firewalls (e.g., Imperva)
    • Email security gateways (e.g., Checkpoint Harmony, Proofpoint)
    • Public Key Infrastructure (e.g., Keyfactor, Microsoft)
  • Establish governance, standards, and best practices for firewall policy management, segmentation, and secure network architecture across global environments.
  • Ensure operational excellence in network security services, including availability, performance, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Act as an escalation point for high‑severity incidents, leading coordination across SOC, infrastructure, and application teams for rapid containment and resolution.
  • Drive automation and modernization initiatives, including firewall rule lifecycle management, infrastructure‑as‑code, and enhanced network visibility and analytics.
  • Oversee PKI strategy and certificate lifecycle management, ensuring secure integration with internal systems and external Certificate Authorities.
  • Partner with Cloud, DevOps, and Application teams to embed security into cloud‑native architectures and application delivery pipelines.
  • Lead compliance and audit readiness efforts (SOX, PCI, NIST CSF, etc.), ensuring controls are implemented, documented, and maintained.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance for network security technologies and services.
  • Develop and manage budgets, resource planning, and capacity forecasting for the network security organization.
  • Present network security posture, risks, and program maturity to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Champion adoption of Zero Trust, ZTNA, and SASE frameworks to enhance enterprise security posture.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, innovation, and security‑first mindset across the team and broader organization.
  • Influence cross‑functional stakeholders to drive alignment on security priorities and architecture decisions.
  • Translate business risk and regulatory requirements into scalable network security architecture and controls.
  • Define and track KPIs/SLAs to measure effectiveness, performance, and risk reduction of network security services.
  • Build and evolve team structure, skills, and capabilities to support future‑state security needs.
What We’re Looking For Required
  • 10+ years of experience in Network Security, with at least 5+ years in leadership or management roles within large, global enterprises.
  • Proven experience leading network security teams and managing complex, distributed environments.
  • Deep expertise in Palo Alto Networks technologies, including firewalls, Prisma Access, and GlobalProtect.
  • Strong experience with WAF, Email Security, and PKI solutions in hybrid (on‑prem + cloud) environments.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing security strategy and roadmaps.
  • Strong understanding of network architecture, cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP), and modern security frameworks (Zero Trust, SASE).
  • Experience leading incident response efforts and managing high‑impact security events.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as SOX and NIST CSF.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with executive leadership.
  • Experience managing vendors, budgets, and cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and ownership in a fast‑paced, global environment.
  • Proven track record of proactively identifying and driving security improvements and strategic initiatives.
  • Strong decision‑making skills with the ability to lead through ambiguity and competing priorities.
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as PCNSE, CCNP/CCIE Security, CCSP, CISSP, or GIAC certifications.
