Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Collaboration & Network Engineer to support a leading organization within the defense and government technology sector. The Senior Collaboration & Network Engineer will serve as a trusted technical advisor responsible for enterprise collaboration platforms, network infrastructure, security initiatives, and critical communication systems within a highly secure environment. The Senior Collaboration & Network Engineer ust be onsite 4 a days a week at Scott Air Force Base IL. Responsibilities of the Senior Collaboration & Network Engineer: * Lead technical engagements involving enterprise networking, unified communications, security, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
* Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalation support for complex routing, switching, voice, and collaboration technologies.
* Design, implement, and optimize highly available network and communications solutions while driving operational excellence.
* Develop automation and orchestration solutions using APIs, scripting, and DevOps methodologies to increase efficiency.
* Mentor technical teams, create documentation, and deliver knowledge transfer for long-term customer success.
Qualifications of the Senior Collaboration & Network Engineer: * Active Secret Security Clearance required.
* 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise networking and unified communications environments.
* CCNP Collaboration, CCIE Collaboration, or equivalent advanced networking certification preferred.
* Extensive experience with call management platforms, instant messaging and presence solutions, voice gateways, SIP, H.323, MGCP, PSTN connectivity, CUBE, and enterprise UC environments.
* Advanced knowledge of routing and switching, Layer 1 and Layer 2 networking, spanning tree, firewall policies, lifecycle management, Linux and Windows Server administration, virtualization, Docker, GitHub, and API-driven automation.
Compensation for the Senior Collaboration & Network Engineer includes: * Salary range: $130,000 - $160,000 annually
