Connected Logistics is seeking a Corporate Enterprise Network (WAN): Network Engineer- Senior to assist in providing the core network engineering services needed to manage the ongoing operations, planned upgrades, new technology insertion, and strategic capability development of Information Operations Enterprise Enclave (IOEE) and Information Operations Secure Enterprise Enclave (IOSEE)  systems and equipment with the goal of providing a secure, reliable, and high-performance network that effectively enables DLA's business activities. This requires the ability to deploy to any DLA site in support of installation or troubleshooting activities. 

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

In this role you will work under general supervision, developing the requirements of a product from inception to conclusion. Specific duties for this position include but aren't limited to:  


  • Develops required specifications for simple to moderately complex problems. 
  • Evaluate and mitigate risk for network STIG compliance
  • Configure and deploy devices in accordance with DLA IOEE and IOSEE device configuration standards
  • Manage DLA IPv4 and IPv6 address space
  • Implement hardware/software technology refreshes and upgrades
  • Conduct Site Surveys to determine space requirements, base infrastructure requirements, etc.
  • Installation and Design planning
  • Last Half Mile Support connecting circuits to IOEE points of presence via assigned base infrastructure
  • Circuit ordering/tracking using DISA Storefront
  • Classified Network Support (Type-1 encryptors, GEM-X, re-keying procedures)
  • Integration with Services and coalition networks as required
  • Tier III troubleshooting (24x7x365 on-call support)
  • Develop network monitoring capabilities based on industry best network practices and methodologies to maintain real-time situational awareness of the IOEE/IOSEE
  • Conduct network engineering planning and analysis
  • Test and implementation planning and analysis
  • Technical support engineering including, but not limited to:

a. System interoperability

b. Service definitions and specifications

c. Network service design and installation

d. Equipment testing and validation

e. Video teleconferencing, imaging, training, and staging, and installation

  • Track DLA DISN sub-network assets from their design, development, deployment, implementation, use and eventual deactivation and/or destruction
  • Coordinates with the Vendor PM, COTRs, and government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters.
  • Ability to travel around 3 times per year


Requirements:


Experience: Five (5) years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience including at least two projects in technical areas included in the. At least one project must have occurred within the past three (3) years.


Investigative Requirement: At time of proposal the contractor must possess a High Risk, Critical Sensitive, Tier 5/SSBI investigation.


Clearence: Top Secret


8570/8140: DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level III (CISSP, CISM or Equivalent


Computing Environment Certifications: 

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional Enterprise (CCNP-E) 
  • Key personnel must also have Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE)

Preferred certifications: include AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, CompTIA Cloud+
