Job description

MuleSoft Integration Consultant
Work Authorization: US Citizen
Work Model: Remote

STSI is seeking an experienced MuleSoft Integration Consultant to support a integration initiative focused on API development, integration delivery, testing, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer. The consultant will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to design, implement, and support enterprise integrations across multiple SaaS platforms.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement APIs and integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Build and maintain reusable MuleSoft components, connectors, and integration workflows.
  • Manage the API lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into integration specifications.
  • Configure API security policies, monitoring, and governance to ensure secure and reliable data exchange.
  • Participate in integration testing, defect analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to validate requirements and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.
  • Attend weekly project status meetings and provide updates on progress, risks, and issues.
Required Qualifications
  • 10 years of hands-on MuleSoft experience, including Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Exchange, Runtime Manager, and DataWeave.
  • Proven experience designing, developing, and supporting REST APIs and MuleSoft integrations.
  • Strong understanding of API-led connectivity, microservices architecture, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience integrating multiple SaaS applications in enterprise environments.
  • Proficiency with JSON, XML, RAML, OAuth2, TLS, and API security best practices.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.

This is a remote position.
