Job description

Overview:
The Stewardship (EHS) Manager is a site leadership team member responsible for driving safe, reliable, and compliant operations at the Evansville facility. This role embeds environmental, health, and safety into daily work through a Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) approach, fostering a culture of learning, risk awareness, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
  • Promote a strong safety culture emphasizing learning, accountability, and open reporting.
  • Ensure environmental compliance, including permitting and regulatory engagement.
  • Integrate EHS into operations, projects, and risk management activities.
  • Lead incident reviews and drive continuous improvement across systems.
  • Build EHS capability through training, coaching, and leadership support.
  • Partner with teams to identify risks and implement practical, sustainable solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience managing compliance systems, permitting processes and environmental regulations.
  • Experience in plastics or chemical manufacturing preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001, Responsible Care, or HOP principles highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and influencing ability.
  • Systems thinking and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive continuous improvement.
