Job description

Corporate Insurance & Risk Management – Job Summary:
The Corporate Insurance & Risk Management professional is responsible for overseeing the organization's enterprise insurance and risk financing programs. Key responsibilities include managing commercial property and casualty insurance, workers' compensation, claims management, insurance procurement, contract risk transfer, policy analysis, insurance compliance, regulatory reporting, premium audits, and collaborating with brokers, insurers, legal counsel, and leadership to minimize organizational risk and optimize financial protection.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field (required).
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in risk management or commercial insurance/brokerage.
  • Experience with claims oversight and settlement.
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial insurance, underwriting, coverage analysis, risk financing, actuarial methods, and loss control activities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
  • Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school (active license not required).
