Job Profile Summary:

Performs technical and administrative data support for engineering and petro-technical staff: loading, entering, verifying, manipulating, analyzing, tracking and reporting data from operational and financial sources.

Generates data-driven insights across stakeholders and functional teams, automates manual processes, and develops new methods to retrieve, visualize, and analyze data - delivering insights that directly inform decisions and improve processes.

Responsibilities:

Assists engineering and petro-technical staff with data acquisition, preparation, and monitoring of activity across databases containing operational, AFE, and LOE data sets

Integrates data across financial, operational, and technical sources for a holistic view; works with corporate teams to establish and enforces data quality standards

Builds analytical tools in partnership with engineering and petro-technical staff, to provide insights into business workflows

Leads cross-functional projects, aligning analytics with strategic objectives and engaging stakeholders throughout

Leverage AI tools to improve workflows and accelerate insight delivery

Designs interactive dashboards and visualizations for tracking and executive-level reporting; delivers presentations to leadership

Drives process improvements and automation for data collection, analysis, and reporting; documents best practices

Mentors Level 1-2 analysts and leads training on technical skills, advanced analytics, and data literacy

Performs other duties as assigned

Experience and Skills:

3-5 years experience in relevant upstream/midstream Oil & Gas Operations is preferred

Working knowledge of oil and gas industry and software preferred (SAP, Aries, SCADA, Spotfire, GIS, Siteview, etc)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Detail oriented self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide array of other functions across the company

Experience in working with large datasets and database QC

Strong verbal and written communicator with the ability to multitask and adapt to change.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Information Science/Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Geoscience, Engineering, or related degree.

Travel Requirements:

Percent of Travel Required: Less than 5%; Travel may be required for mandatory meetings or training.
