Leidos is seeking a Program Ally and Midstream Marketing Manager to support the award-winning Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program. Based out of the Ameren Illinois service territory, the Program Ally and Midstream Marketing Manager will work with Ameren Illinois and Leidos leadership to develop marketing strategies to increase Program Ally participation and engagement in the Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program as well as providing marketing strategy and support in the Midstream channel.

Location:

This position will be a hybrid of working from home and working in our Downtown Peoria office (2 days per week).

Ameren Illinois and Leidos believe it is very important to provide employment opportunities to the utility ratepayers that reside in Illinois. Therefore, there is strong preference for the successful candidate to be located in the Ameren Illinois service territory https://www.ameren.com/illinois/company/about-ameren/service-territory (roughly the southern two-thirds of Illinois). The Ameren Illinois service territory includes several large to mid-size communities such as Galesburg, Quincy, Peoria, Bloomington-Normal, Champaign-Urbana, Danville, Decatur, Springfield, Charleston-Mattoon, Effingham, Mt. Vernon, Marion, Carbondale, and Metro East (Belleville, O'Fallon, Granite City, Edwardsville, Alton, Collinsville).

The primary responsibilities of the Program Ally and Midstream Marketing Manager will include coordination and implementation of marketing campaigns to business and residential Ameren Illinois customers and Program Ally contractors including, but not limited to, print and digital advertising, website and social media concept creation, special events, co-branding and more.

Under the leadership of the Director of Marketing Operations and Creative, the Program Ally and Midstream Marketing Manager will serve as the marketing lead in these channels in collaboration with Program Managers and subcontractors to reach Program goals.

The Challenge:

  • Leading and executing marketing projects from start to finish. Can include co-branded marketing collateral for Program Allies, informational messaging for Program Allies, working with an implementation partner on strategy for marketing, and executing project management through approval channels.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact between the Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Marketing team and the Operations teams for the various channels.
  • Leads the development with implementation partners on execution of bold, creative and integrated marketing strategies.
  • Oversees and executes marketing for the Program Allies to utilize, as well as informational marketing for communicating Program information.
  • Oversees and executes marketing campaigns and strategy for the Midstream channel with implementation partners.
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of marketing with tracking and analysis to make changes accordingly.
  • Establishes positioning, identifies target audiences, and develops marketing plans with implementation partners with specific measurable objectives across the different channels and segments.
  • Participates in strategic planning sessions and leads all marketing and communication initiatives.
  • Works with implementation partners to develop an annual marketing strategy and plan.
  • Provides regular status reports to Program Implementor team on marketing campaigns and key metrics related to marketing efforts.
  • Identify ways to use this role's channels to find new opportunities to engage customers for the future.
  • Continually stay on top of trends within the industry.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications or business, preferred with two (2+) plus years of work experience in marketing, sales, business or related field.May consider more years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Demonstrated capability and success in development and execution of marketing strategies.
  • Strong organizational/ project management skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in energy efficiency or retail preferred, but not required.
  • Energetic, can-do attitude.
  • Adaptability and flexibility with changes.
  • Professional demeanor and dedication to delivering top notch customer service.

Although this role will primarily support the Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program, Leidos will be the employer of the person, Ameren Illinois does not take any role in selecting the person for employment, and Ameren Illinois will not have any role in managing the work performed by the person.
