Meyer Distributing is looking for a Warehouse Inventory Specialist to join our Denver, CO team.


Meyer Distributing is a complete wholesale distributor: automotive, RV/towing, outdoor living, marine, and more. With 85+ locations across the country, Meyer services dealers nationwide. Meyer Logistics is a transportation company that serves as the backbone of Meyer Distributing’s shipping network. Meyer Logistics has a fleet of 500+ top-of-the-line trucks. Meyer Distributing & Logistics are driven to perform – come join our team today!
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.

TRAINING: A minimum of one month of on-the-job training is required.

EXPERIENCE: Previous warehouse experience and ability to operate a forklift or man lift preferred.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Good computer skills and knowledge of WMS software
  • Positive attitude and have ability to be self-motivated
  • Ability to give special attention to detail
  • Ability to identify letters and numbers
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and abilities
  • Planning/organizing and follow up skills
  • Quality control- the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality

  • Dependability- the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance
  • Communication - Must have excellent oral and written communication skills up and down organizational structure

Starting Pay:

Based on experience:

$22.00-$25.00


Schedule:

  • Monday- Friday: 6:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Occasional Saturdays

Inventory Control Duties Include:

  • Locating inventory that is on the warehouse site, but not located in the correct location
  • Handle all details associated with inventory transfers
  • Perform cycle counts
  • Handle details associated with stock adjustments and returns
  • Communicate with Meyer warehouse lead and logistics to determine the most efficient way to deliver/return items to the vendor
  • Receive and approve vendor credit invoices
  • Research discrepancies
  • Handle research of receiving and invoice issues
