WHAT YOU WILL DO

ResponsibleforthemanagementoftheplantManufacturingandFacilitiesEngineeringfunctions.Assuresplantoperationalcompliancewithenvironmentalandsafetyregulations.ManagesthefacilitysafetyprogramandfacilityISO14000certification.

PRINCIPALFUNCTIONALRESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managetheresearch,justificationandeffectiveimplementationofplantandequipmentimprovementprojects,forinclusioninthefacilitycapitalbudget

• Achievepositivebudgetresultsinsupportofplantoperations

• EnsurethatacleansafeworkenvironmentismaintainedthroughthemanagementoftheFacilitySafetyProgram

• Monitorandensurefullfacilitycompliancewithenvironmentalpermitsandregulations

• Supporttheplant'sLeanandSixSigmaContinuousImprovementprocessesbydrivinguptimeimprovementsthroughaplantwideTotalProductiveMaintenance(TPM)programandthroughPoka-Yokedevelopmentandimplementation

• Manageplantequipmentmodificationsandsetupincompliancewithsafetyandfunctionalitystandards

• Manage,train,provideperformancefeedbackandassigndutiesofdirectreportstoensureproductivity,efficiency,andeffectiveness

ESSENTIALQUALIFICATIONSANDSKILLS:

• 5+yrs.manufacturingoperationsexperience

• 2+yrs.supervisionexperienceineithermaintenanceormanufacturingengineering

• TPMexperience

• IntermediateproficiencywithMicrosoftOfficeSuite

• Demonstratedsuccessfulabilitytoleadpeopleandgetresultsthroughothers

• FundamentalknowledgeandexperienceinLeanManufacturing,KaizenactivitiesandSixSigmaprocesses

• Demonstratedsuccessfulabilitytobuildpositivepartnershipsandworkcollaborativelywithcross-functionalbusinessteams

• Excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskillswiththeabilitytointeractwithinternalandexternalcustomers

• Abilitytotravelupto10%includinginternational

PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONSANDSKILLS:

• Familiaritywiththecabinetindustryandproduct

• ISO14000experience

• Bachelor'sdegreeinengineeringorrelatedfield
