Grid Modernization Consultant Analyst (intern)
Job Description:
Under general direction with EnerNex consultants, perform work on a broad range of general management consulting and energy engineering consulting engagements. Primarily responsible for information management, data analysis, research, and deliverable preparation. Analysts serve in supporting roles on client projects or internal firm activities. Our analysts:
  • Research and analyze data and engineering studies
  • Synthesize technical reports into short, actionable bulletins
  • Perform some first-hand data analysis
  • Create detailed descriptions of analysis processes
  • Produce quality work products
  • Prove they are dependable

  • Demonstrate distinct problem solving skills and abilities

  • Use Microsoft tools proficiently

Qualifications:
Candidates interested in the analyst intern position with EnerNex must have demonstrated academic success while pursuing their degree. The candidate should have demonstrated proficiency in productivity and data analysis software including: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word. Knowledge of Microsoft Access and Project is a plus but not required. Knowledge of at least one programming language (such as R, Matlab, Scheme, Python, etc.) also a plus, but not required. Preference to candidates with data analysis experience including candidates with coursework or work experience in areas such as engineering, business, computer science, or technical disciplines
