We are currently seeking an Accounting Specialst who will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, supporting month-end close activities, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. This role will also support financial planning, ERP implementation, insurance administration, and operational accounting functions for our growing organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable and accounts payable activities.
  • Prepare accounting records and financial reports with accuracy, completeness, and conformity to accounting standards.
  • Support the implementation and setup of ERP systems for a newly established company.
  • Assist with strategic planning, budget preparation, and financial consolidation activities with headquarters in Korea.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly financial reporting.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain proper recording of control accounts.
  • Manage daily banking transactions and requirements.
  • Respond to inquiries from management regarding financial results and special reporting requests.
  • Administer Builder’s Risk and OCIP (WC/EL/CGL/Umbrella) insurance policies, including enrollments, modifications, and cancellations.
  • Ensure insurance documentation is accurate and compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and follow up on insurance claims with adjusters, brokers, and other stakeholders.
  • Work with brokers and business teams to manage insurance obligations and claims processes.
  • During factory construction, support insurance-related activities associated with construction projects as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of accounting experience.
  • Manufacturing experience in a global environment preferred.
  • SAP experience (FI and CO modules) preferred.
  • Bilingual Korean/English preferred.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
