Manager, Linux & MQ Engineering


Hybrid onsite


Growing technology organization is seeking a Manager of Linux & IBM MQ Engineering to lead a team of 5+ engineers supporting a highly regulated enterprise environment.


This role is responsible for overseeing Red Hat Enterprise Linux platforms, IBM MQ messaging infrastructure, and Red Hat images that support critical business applications and B2B integrations. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, leadership experience, and a passion for developing engineering teams.


Responsibilities:



  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5+ Linux and middleware engineers.

  • Manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) infrastructure and IBM MQ environments.

  • Oversee B2B integration platforms and ensure secure, reliable message delivery.

  • Support the creation, maintenance, and deployment of Red Hat images.

  • Ensure platform stability, security, compliance, and high availability in a regulated environment.

  • Partner with infrastructure and application teams to deliver scalable solutions and drive continuous improvement.


Qualifications:



  • Experience managing Linux infrastructure or platform engineering teams.

  • Strong expertise with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and IBM MQ.

  • Experience supporting B2B integrations and enterprise messaging platforms.
