Cisco's Legal Operations team powers the Legal Department by streamlining processes, implementing innovative tools, and using data-driven insights to enable delivery of high-quality legal services at scale. We partner closely with attorneys, business teams, and technical teams to help the department operate at its best - aligned, effective, and ready to support Cisco's strategic goals.
Your Impact
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Cisco Legal Operations team as we accelerate our digital transformation through automation and artificial intelligence. As a Business Operations Manager, you will be the technical engine behind our operational modernization. You will bridge the gap between complex legal business needs and technical execution, building and consulting on workflow automations and AI-driven solutions. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications, ensuring our legal technology stack remains cutting-edge, efficient, and user-centric.
In this role, you will:
  • Design, build, and maintain workflow automations using low-code/no-code platforms.
  • Consult on and implement AI solutions, identifying opportunities to leverage emerging technologies to solve legal operational challenges.
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear, technical documentation and functional requirements.
  • Manage end-to-end project execution for technical initiatives, including requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to pilot new tools and methodologies.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Legal Operations, or a technical project management role within a legal or highly regulated environment.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying solutions using low-code/no-code application platforms.
  • Proven ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements for IT development teams.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of driving initiatives from concept to successful implementation.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated curiosity and a proactive approach to learning; a self-starter who stays on top of the latest advancements in AI and legal technology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in data analysis and process mapping, with a focus on identifying and eliminating operational bottlenecks.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects while maintaining high standards for quality and accuracy.
  • Experience working within an Agile framework to deliver iterative improvements to business processes.
