Position Overview

Connected Minds Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and passionate Remote Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team. This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment while enabling you to make a significant impact in the lives of children, adolescents, and families. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexible working hours and the opportunity to manage your schedule effectively. You'll be connected to a dynamic team committed to fostering a supportive culture that prioritizes both mental health and laughter. Our technological infrastructure includes the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Records systems, enabling seamless communication and documentation as you engage with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans for each client, ensuring alignment with their unique needs.
  • Maintain a minimum caseload of 27 client visits per week for full-time therapists, providing consistent and meaningful therapy sessions.
  • Utilize creative therapeutic interventions, adapting approaches as needed to ensure clients achieve and surpass their personal therapeutic goals.
  • Document each client session meticulously, including clinical assessments, treatment plans, and case notes, in compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals, case managers, and family members to coordinate comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Participate actively in clinical staff meetings and training sessions to improve your skills and contribute to team dynamics.
  • Play a vital role in fostering a positive team culture and contributing to the overall mission of Connected Minds Counseling Services.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapist in this role will primarily work with a diverse population of children, adolescents, and families facing various mental health challenges. Our inclusive workplace encourages therapists from all backgrounds, including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and bilingual professionals, to apply. We underscore the importance of culturally competent care, ensuring that all clients feel understood and empowered in their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications
  • A master’s degree in a behavioral science or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active LMFT licensure for practice in Illinois.
  • Proven experience in clinical documentation, including assessments and treatment plans.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to articulate therapeutic concepts clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills to ensure timely completion of documentation and client follow-ups.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain professional boundaries with clients and uphold ethical standards in therapy.
  • Familiarity with Office 365 and EHR systems; experience with Valant is a plus.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in community health settings, focusing on diverse populations.
  • Prior work with telehealth platforms, demonstrating adaptability in virtual therapy environments.
  • Engagement in continuous professional development and training, indicating a commitment to personal and professional growth.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this position is competitive, with a salary range of USD 80,000 to USD 105,000 annually, accompanied by a sign-on bonus. In addition to financial compensation, we offer benefits including flexible work schedules, paid holidays (including your birthday!), access to a Continuing Education Library for required CEUs, and remuneration for administrative time spent on consultation and documentation.
