Job Highlights
  • Perform accurate venipuncture, capillary collection, and 12-lead EKGs for patients of all age groups, ensuring proper preparation and handling of blood and body fluid samples 
  • Utilize the Laboratory Information System (L.I.S.) and other tools to manage lab workflows, respond to service requests, and distribute reports accurately 
  • Deliver patient care with professionalism, recognizing age-specific needs and maintaining a customer-oriented approach aligned with the hospital's mission 
  • Support hospital and departmental quality initiatives and maintains compliance through accurate documentation and adherence to protocols 
  • Contribute to lab operations by managing inventory, participating in ongoing education, and promoting continuous professional development 



Candidate Profile
  • Current CPR-BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross are required 
  • Completion of a phlebotomy training program including 100 hours of on-site clinical site training
  • Relevant soft skills include customer service, ability to multitask, and collaboration
