Job description

About the Company Imagine building the operating system for agentic AI in environments where failure isn't an option. In just ten months, this team won four U.S. Government prime contracts in open competition, every one deployed into classified infrastructure, beating established defense primes head to head. The team comes from the intelligence community, special operations, and frontier AI research. They've lived this problem from the inside. About the Role The core platform turns days of manual synthesis into minutes of insight. This role owns features end to end, Python backend to React frontend, putting real AI tooling directly in analysts' hands. This isn't greenfield work for its own sake; what gets built runs in production environments where the stakes are real. What You'll Do * Build and own FastAPI endpoints backed by PostgreSQL for agent configuration, workflow orchestration, and evaluation pipelines * Implement React/TypeScript features: conversation interfaces, workflow visualization, knowledge-graph exploration * Design durable orchestration for long-running agent execution, delegation, monitoring, timeout propagation * Write contract-driven, test-first code across the full stack, from database migration to UI state * Own performance at every layer, API latency, query efficiency, render performance, streaming. Treat slowness as a bug * Contribute to Python and TypeScript client SDKs so programmatic consumers get ergonomic, well-typed access * Debug across service boundaries using distributed tracing You're a Fit If You * Ship production Python (async, relational modeling, layered services) and production React/TypeScript * Reason clearly about data flow from schema to UI state * Work test-first and write code other people can maintain Nice to Have * Experience with agentic AI systems or LLM APIs * Distributed task orchestration * Graph databases or vector search * OAuth2/OIDC identity management * Background in intelligence analysis or analytical workflows U.S. citizenship is required. An active TS/SCI security clearance is required. We are in-person only in Arlington, VA or New York City, NY
