Operations Manager, Janitorial

A leading provider of janitorial, specialty, and emergency services, is seeking an Operations Manager who will be directly responsible for project management, service requests, and maintaining customer and team member relations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

ยท Willingness to learn and be part of a team

ยท Plan, organize, and coordinate functions of janitorial staff

ยท Supervise and review assigned work of janitorial staff

ยท Act as a liaison between the client, operations leads, and corporate support teams

ยท Promote and ensure proper employee training and compliance with company and customer safety procedures

ยท Administration of progressive discipline and payroll responsibilities

ยท Communication with client to ensure satisfaction, identify opportunities, and provide status updates of daily operations

Requirements:

ยท 3-5 years of progressive experience in managing building services

ยท Valid Driverโ€™s License and acceptable driving record required

ยท Ability to lead through motivation and management of team members

ยท Excellent communication skills, bi-lingual strongly preferred

ยท Must demonstrate knowledge of basic principles of custodial maintenance

ยท Extremely detail oriented

ยท Ability to adapt to customer requests

ยท Sound business judgement and decision making processes

ยท Ability to conduct assessments and deliver materials to various locations

ยท Associates degree or higher (or equivalent)
