Job description

International Tax Manager Senior

Locations: This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office

The International Tax Manager Senior is responsible for ensuring compliance with international tax laws as well as primary tax research, tax planning and tax audits. Has functional responsibility for one or more key tax department processes.

How you will make an Impact:

  • Manages international compliance including Forms 5471, 8858, and related filings.

  • Oversee calculation of GILTI, Subpart F, FDII and associated processes.

  • Manages resolution of complex international audits with governmental auditors and external financial statement auditors.

  • Solves complex issues with minimal senior tax department oversight.

  • Provides timely and accurate international tax support to business units, including advising on tax implications of new business opportunities, business transactions, and legislative analysis.

  • Assist with international pieces of the quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provision.

  • Identifies and implements international tax minimization and tax refund opportunities.

  • Performs tax due diligence on potential acquisitions.

  • Partner with tax technology team to drive process improvement initiatives for international tax.

  • Resolves issues of diverse scope where analysis requires evaluation of a variety of factors and data sources.

  • Assists with the training, recruiting, and mentoring of junior tax team members.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS in accounting and a minimum of 8 years of tax experience (corporate and/or public accounting) or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Experiences and Competencies:

  • International Tax experience highly preferred.

  • Knowledge and understanding of ASC 740 and CPA designation strongly preferred.

  • International tax experience in the following locations preferred: India, Philippines, and Puerto Rico.

  • MBA or MST and experience in insurance taxation preferred.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $114,072 to $187,404
