Job description

JSG is recruiting for a dynamic Interior Designer to join our client in Dearborn, MI, supporting one of the world’s leading automotive companies. This role offers the opportunity to work on global projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and shape modern workplace strategies in a hybrid work environment
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead customer-facing meetings to identify specific space and design requirements, ensuring all responses meet planning standards and guidelines
  • Collaborate with global teams and vendor partners to develop innovative interior solutions that align with client needs and standards
  • Manage design projects from concept to completion, including space planning, furniture selection, and interior finishes
  • Facilitate project reviews, oversee budgets, schedules, and scope, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Develop and implement workplace strategies that enhance efficiency, employee satisfaction, and brand identity

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant interior design experience, preferably in corporate or global project environments
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and shifting deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience leading customer and team meetings
  • Proficiency with space planning, design tools, and visualization software
