Job description

Job Title: Visualization Manager
Location: Somerville, NJ or Remote
The difference you'll make:
We're looking for a strategic, design-driven Visualization Manager to lead dancker's visualization capabilities and elevate how we communicate design intent across the organization. In this role, you'll partner closely with Sales, Design, and Marketing to deliver high-quality visual outputs that support business development, strengthen brand positioning, and enhance client engagement. Success in this role will be reflected in the quality and consistency of visual output, predictable delivery timelines, strong stakeholder alignment, and the ability to translate design intent into compelling visual storytelling that supports business development.
You'll own the end-to-end rendering and visualization process, drive alignment across stakeholders, manage workflow, and ensure consistent execution through external production resources. This role will also help shape the design vision for dancker's experience centers by supporting space planning efforts and developing furniture layouts with integrated technology and architectural products. Through clear processes, creative advancement, and effective resource direction, you'll help showcase dancker's full range of integrated interior solutions in a clear, engaging, and effective way.
How you'll make an impact:
  • Lead the end-to-end visualization process, including intake, prioritization, workflow management, and coordination with external rendering resources to support predictable timelines and efficient turnaround
  • Provide clear creative direction to align internal expectations with external production execution, driving consistency, quality, and resource performance
  • Ensure the quality, accuracy, and brand alignment of visual outputs so renderings, animations, and presentation materials meet dancker's design standards and client-facing expectations
  • Review and refine visual deliverables to elevate clarity, storytelling, and overall impact in support of business development and client engagement
  • Partner with Sales, Design, and Marketing teams to understand project goals, target audiences, desired outcomes, and stakeholder expectations
  • Develop and support strategic visual assets, including photoreal renderings, immersive and interactive visual experiences, design and sales presentations, thought starters, idea books, and trend materials
  • Facilitate cross-functional brainstorming and strategy sessions that improve stakeholder alignment, creative direction, and project outcomes
  • Establish and maintain clear workflows, processes, and communication standards that create transparency around intake, timelines, workload, deliverables, and project status
  • Continuously evaluate and improve visualization tools, processes, and outputs to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and creative advancement
  • Partner with Sales and leadership teams to support experience center environments that showcase product solutions, reinforce brand positioning, and support client engagement and business development
  • Support experience center updates and refreshes to maintain relevance, functionality, and alignment with evolving workplace trends
  • Monitor recurring themes, project feedback, and delivery outcomes to identify opportunities to improve process clarity, visual quality, and stakeholder satisfaction
What you'll bring to this role:
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial interior design, visualization, or a related field within commercial interiors
  • Strong design sensibility with a portfolio demonstrating high-quality visual work, spatial thinking, and the ability to communicate design intent clearly
  • Demonstrated ability to create functional, well-planned environments that support varied work settings, user needs, and business objectives
  • Experience developing thoughtful space plans and furniture layouts that enhance user experience, product application, and client engagement
  • Ability to manage visualization workflows with attention to quality, turnaround, stakeholder alignment, and delivery transparency
  • Experience coordinating with external partners or contract resources while maintaining clear direction, consistent expectations, and strong output quality
  • Experience with design and visualization tools such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and similar platforms
  • Familiarity with CET Designer is a plus, but not required
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate creative concepts into compelling business development materials
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder needs
