Job Description:

The Sr. Molding Technician supports the production needs of the operation by setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting machines with assistance and/or direction from management or qualified associates.

3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm-7:00am

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set-up, operate, and maintain equipmentas needed to support operations
  • Make professional and lasting modifications and repairs to existing equipmentwith direction from management or qualified associates
  • Responsible for cosmetic criteria as specified and communicating criteria to employees
  • Relay pertinent product and quality related information to Operators, Inspectors, Supervisors, and peers, in bothwritten and verbalforms
  • Documentation of production, maintenance, and QC audits performed
  • Organizing and maintaining the order and cleanliness of equipment, storage areas andthedepartment as a whole
  • Other duties and projects, as required by production and business need

Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • High SchoolDiploma or equivalent required
  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • 3+ years of Injection molding experience
  • Successful completion of Mechanical Aptitude test
  • Established ability to identify and communicate issues and offer proposed solutions
  • Greatattention to detailis required
  • Ability to manage interruptions in a professional and respectful manner is essential
  • Above average basic math skills and reasoning ability
  • Moderate computer and Microsoft Office skills
  • Forklift certification
