What You'll Do

As an Injection Mold Technician I, you’ll play a hands-on role in keeping our injection molding operations running safely, consistently, and efficiently.

You’ll set up and operate injection molding equipment, work with two-material molding systems and robotics, troubleshoot production issues, and partner with Engineering and Maintenance to keep equipment performing at its best.

  • Set up, operate, and monitor microprocessor-controlled injection molding machines and supporting equipment.
  • Perform complex mold setups involving two-material molding components, robotics, and related manufacturing systems.
  • Prepare injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment for the production of molded cases, components, and accessories.
  • Work from engineering drawings, Bills of Material, assembly drawings, setup procedures, and production instructions.
  • Monitor the molding process and finished parts to ensure quality and production standards are consistently met.
  • Identify and troubleshoot molding, equipment, material, and process issues and escalate more complex problems when needed.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, and technical teams to support equipment installation, troubleshooting, and production needs.
  • Support raw material availability and inventory to help maintain production flow.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, electrical hoists, forklifts, pallet-moving equipment, and other production equipment.
  • Identify and report equipment problems, defective materials, process concerns, and unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain accurate daily production records and required documentation.
  • Keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and production-ready while following all safety and quality requirements.
  • Work Schedule -  2nd Shift, Monday through Friday, 1:45 PM – 10:15 PM.

What We’re Looking For

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on injection molding process experience.
  • Experience setting up and operating injection molding machinery.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with production equipment, tools, and manufacturing systems.
  • Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, Bills of Material, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Ability to identify basic process or equipment issues and communicate problems effectively.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a manufacturing environment.

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with robotics or automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience with two-material or multi-component injection molding.
  • Experience troubleshooting injection molding processes or equipment.
