Compensation & Benefits
  • Base pay: $58,000/year plus commission
  • First-year earning potential: $75,000 to $80,000 (base + commission combined)

Job Summary

The Business Engagement Manager is responsible for new logo attainment for Ryder's FMS contractual sales products (Choicelease / SelectCare). You will deploy a structured Go-To-Market strategy using Ryder's CRM (Salesforce) as your foundation, driving consistent market engagement through digital, tele-marketing, direct mail and strategic in-person outreach. It is your responsibility to build value in the minds of prospects and guide them through the Ryder Sales Process - from first touch to signed contract.

What You'll Do

Prospecting & New Business Development

Execute a multi-channel go-to-market approach: tele-prospecting, digital outreach, direct mail and in-person meetings. Develop a pre-sales strategy for target accounts and build an activity pipeline sufficient to meet and exceed quota. Respond proactively to inbound leads and represent the full spectrum of Ryder's services. Collaborate with CEMs, CDMs, and National/DTS/SCS Sales DBDs to develop and expand opportunities within your territory. Ensure all new customers receive a complete onboarding orientation.

CRM & Pipeline Management

Keep a structured, organized and consistent go-to-market plan in Salesforce and Seismic. This includes prospect tier management, prospecting report management, collaboration leads, mailings, follow-up tasks, and opportunity and proposal management. A clean CRM is a direct reflection of your sales discipline - and your paycheck.

Administrative & Professional Development

Own your admin functions: rate sheets, vehicle specifications and package processing. Continuously invest in your sales skills, industry knowledge and personal growth. Ryder provides the tools and resources - you bring the drive.

What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of demonstrated, consecutive sales excellence with proven quota achievement
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interpret financial data and leverage it to match solutions to customer needs
  • Good working knowledge of Ryder's product offerings (or a strong ability to learn them quickly)
  • Highly organized and capable of multi-tasking with excellent time management
  • Self-directed with a high degree of initiative; comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all levels of an organization


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business and/or Marketing Administration or equivalent field, Preferred

  • 2 years or more in Demonstrated consecutive Sales
    excellence (quota achievement) in
    prior sales responsibilities, Required
