Job description

TGR Freight LLC is hiring a CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Driver. We supply all equipment, fuel, and everything else you need — all we ask is that you drive safely, stay professional, and be on time. Material is a Class 3 makeup. EMC is the chemical name used in the battery industry. We are looking for someone who is flexible with their schedule and who is okay with running multiple different routes. Some of these routes include:

  • Kokomo, IN to Sparks, NV
  • Kokomo, IN to Joliet, IL
  • Kokomo, IN to De Soto, KS
  • Kokomo, IN to Ellabell, GA
  • Kokomo, IN to Lansing, MI
  • Kokomo, IN to Jeffersonville, OH

Pay is per based per round trip.

Qualifications

· Hazmat driving position using tanker with refrigerator generator on chassis to be used during different climate situations (must have Hazmat & Tanker endorsements)

· Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Class A license

· 1 year of Class A experience within the last 5 years or 6 months of Class A experience within the last year

· No DUI within 5 years or 10 years if CDL holder at time of DUI

· No more than 1 preventable accident in the past year 2 years, no major within 5 years

· No moving violations in the past 2 years

· Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug tests
