MCCF Outbound Fulfillment Tech (Shipping & Delivery Tech) is responsible for the tech stack and product capabilities enabling seamless outbound order fulfillment and delivery - from generating accurate delivery promises shown to merchants and shoppers at order confirmation, to shipping orders, to facilitating real-time order tracking. This is an opportunity to be part of a transformational initiative building a decoupled, flexible fulfillment offering that serves diverse customer cohorts (SMBs, Enterprises, Marketplaces, 1P/3P integrations) while delivering competitive shipping costs, industry-leading delivery performance, and custom experiences at world-class scale.
As a Software Development Manager on the MCCF Outbound team, you'll lead technical strategy for a system operating at massive scale - processing tens of millions of units annually across a rapidly expanding merchant ecosystem - while maintaining exceptional reliability and near-continuous availability across all integration interfaces. Your architectural decisions directly impact developer and integration experience across EDI, REST, and GraphQL channels serving a merchant base that spans independent brands, global marketplaces, and enterprise retailers.
You'll build highly-available, low-latency, tier-1 software across order orchestration, API infrastructure, and multi-tenant architecture - while partnering closely with merchant operations, fulfillment, and platform teams

Key job responsibilities
Lead E2E architecture, design, implementation, support, and evaluation of technology-focused tools and services.
Provide leadership and innovation in the design and implementation of services to enable new products and services.
Evaluate complex business and technical requirements, and communicate inherent risks and solutions to technical and non-technical business owners.
Act as point of contact for communications dealing with project deliverables, setting the expectation, managing priorities, technologies, human factors and management issues.
Establish consistence project management processes, standards and guidelines in the execution of program wide security efforts. Engage enterprise wide teams as needed with focus on results.
