The Opportunity
Superhuman is on a mission to build the fastest, most delightful productivity experiences powered by AI. As we scale rapidly, our internal technology operations must evolve to match our ambition. We're looking for an engineering manager to join our Land & Expand team within Managed Growth.
The Managed Growth team is chartered to help grow our Sales-led line of business. The team was formed a year ago, and plays an instrumental role in delivering a Superhuman product suite that is ready for Enterprises from a feature, compliance, administrative, and manageability perspective. Managed Growth has four teams, and we're looking for a manager to lead Land and Expand.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead and grow a team of 6 engineers, providing mentorship, career growth, and setting up a culture of technical excellence. The team currently includes four full-stack engineers, one Windows engineer, and one Mac engineer.
  • Find opportunities in conjunction with sales and marketing to drive the performance of our funnels to drive measurable growth.
  • Take responsibility for driving Grammarly's Enterprise featureset and enabling our transition to an agentic future with Go.
  • Build the next set of agents that are especially useful to users in enterprises.
  • Be deeply involved technically with your team, helping shape designs, architecture, participating in code reviews, and sending some small PRs.

Qualifications
  • Strong ownership and obsession with business impact, with a proven track record of delivering meaningful results for users and the business.
  • Proficiency with modern front-end and back-end technologies. Familiarity with, or an interest in learning, Windows and Mac platform technologies
  • Experience managing a team of 4+ engineers for 3+ years, and a track record of hiring and growing engineers
  • Prior experience working with sales and marketing teams, and understanding Enterprise journeys is a big plus.

Compensation and Benefits
Superhuman offers all team members competitive pay along with a benefits package encompassing the following and more:
  • Excellent health care (including a wide range of medical, dental, vision, mental health, and fertility benefits)
  • Disability and life insurance options
  • 401(k) and RRSP matching
  • Paid parental leave
  • 20 days of paid time off per year, 12 days of paid holidays per year, two floating holidays per year, and flexible sick time
  • Generous stipends (including those for caregiving, pet care, wellness, your home office, and more)
  • Annual professional development budget and opportunities

Superhuman takes a market-based approach to compensation so that base pay may vary by location. Our US locations are categorized into two compensation zones based on proximity to our hub locations.
Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The expected salary ranges for this position, by compensation zone, are outlined and may be modified in the future.
