About the Role:
The Senior Project Manager position offers the opportunity to lead diverse civil engineering projects from initial concept through completion. This role focuses on managing the full lifecycle of projects, including site evaluation, design, permitting, construction administration, and final certification, while maintaining client satisfaction and ensuring regulatory compliance. This position is responsible for overseeing initiatives in land development, stormwater systems, and utility design.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of project execution, including feasibility studies, design, permitting, and construction administration.
  • Oversee project budgets, timelines, and deliverables to meet both client objectives and business goals.
  • Collaborate with clients, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead the design of site layouts, stormwater systems, water/wastewater utilities, grading, and drainage plans.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting quality and professional development.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and drawings in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Proactively identify and address project risks, maintaining progress and stakeholder confidence.
  • Represent the firm in client and regulatory meetings, ensuring alignment on project objectives and requirements.
  • Contribute to business development by preparing proposals and scopes of work for potential new projects.

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Florida (preferred).
  • Seven (7)+ years of experience in civil engineering and project management, with a strong focus on land development and site design.
  • Expertise in stormwater management, drainage systems, utility design, and permitting processes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS software, and stormwater modeling tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of Florida's regulatory and permitting requirements.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a focus on managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, with a track record of managing teams and client relationships effectively.
